Pedagogy, Humanities and Foreign Languages in Natural and Technical Sciences

The symposium is focussed on up-to-date issues in education, subject-field didactics, and methodology in teaching natural and technical sciences. It introduces pedagogy, humanities and foreign languages from the point of view of subjects applied towards natural and technical sciences. It covers their multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary aspects. The section deals with lifelong learning, e-learning, effectiveness of teaching, the use of ICT, English for Specific Purposes and some philosophical visions and ways of development of natural sciences and technology in the 21st century.
