Assoc. Prof. Ing. Pavel Janoš, CSc. graduated from the University of Chemical Technology in Pardubice (Ing., 1981) and Charles University in Prague (PhD degree in analytical chemistry, 1992). He has been an Associate Professor at the Masaryk University in Brno (analytical chemistry, 1996), professor in Environmental chemistry and technology at the Brno University of Technology (2015). At present, he is a vice-dean for science at the University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně in Ústí Nad Labem, Faculty of Environment. Research interests involve analytical chemistry, focusing mainly of separation methods and environmental analyses, inorganic fine chemistry, preparation and characterization of advanced inorganic and composite materials (including nanomaterials) and development of new technologies for their use in environmental protection. He is an author of more than 80 highly cited articles (over 1200 citations) in scientific journals, many oral and poster presentations, 10 patents and dozens of research reports. |
